Software Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

DUND is building an autonomous air cargo handling platform that combines robotics, computer vision and sensor technology. The company seeks a Software Engineer to develop the software that connects robots, cameras, sensors and data‑processing systems into a single, real‑time solution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve software for DUND's autonomous air cargo handling system.
• Integrate software with cameras, sensors, robots and other hardware components.
• Handle real‑time data communication between system modules.
• Perform system optimisation, testing and adjustments in live production conditions.
• Analyse technical issues and independently devise solutions to enhance system performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong command of Latvian and English.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git and Linux environments.
• Experience working with cameras, sensors or other data‑acquisition devices and solving hardware‑software integration challenges.
