Recruitment Consultant – Investment Banking & Private Equity

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a 4‑day work week. You will manage the full executive search lifecycle, source high‑calibre finance professionals and build long‑term relationships with senior clients in investment banking and private equity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Managing Directors, Partners and senior stakeholders at investment banks and financial institutions.
• Identify and approach high‑performing candidates across M&A, ECM, DCM, LevFin, FIG, Infrastructure, Real Estate and other IB verticals using direct sourcing, market mapping and discreet outreach.
• Conduct structured interviews and competency assessments to evaluate technical skills, deal experience and cultural fit.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities within the investment banking and private markets ecosystem.
• Stay informed on market developments, hiring trends, compensation benchmarks and deal activity.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to share insights and achieve team targets.

Required profile

• Fluent English.
• 1–2 years of experience in communication, business development or commercial roles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Target‑driven sales mindset with proven client acquisition experience.
• Strong interest in investment banking, private equity and broader finance.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple mandates and deadlines.
• Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems (advantageous).
