Marketing Finance and Customer Funds Planner

About the role

The Marketing Finance and Customer Funds Planner supports Northern Europe Marketing Finance and Divisional Finance at Mastercard. This individual contributor role ensures accurate budget management, disciplined forecasting, and transparent tracking of marketing spend and customer funds across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, forecasting, and monitoring of marketing budgets across Northern Europe markets.
• Track actuals versus forecast and conduct variance analysis in collaboration with Marketing and Finance teams.
• Maintain structured budget overviews by market, initiative, and funding source.
• Manage end‑to‑end purchase order processes, including creation, amendments, invoice validation, and accruals.
• Act as the operational liaison between Marketing, Finance Operations, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant processing.
• Provide operational and analytical support for Customer Funds usage, maintaining trackers and ensuring consistency with approved initiatives.
• Support funds governance, respond to stakeholder queries, and prepare regular and ad‑hoc reporting on funds utilization.
• Assist Divisional Finance with close and forecast activities involving funds, including accruals.
